Common Windows Error Codes and There Solution

Guys’, having a computer is an easier task, but maintaining its performance in long run is difficult one. If you own a computer it’s very common that you will face some sort of error problems.  Some errors that occur frequently on a Windows system are compiled in a common Windows error codes list. Some of them can easily be solved but some of them are difficult to tackle about. For a normal user who are not from the technical background or who have less knowledge regarding this will find this article useful.

 An error message is information displayed when an unexpected condition occurs, usually on a computer or other device. On modern operating systems with graphical user interfaces, error messages are often displayed using dialog boxes.

Some of the common windows error codes and steps to fix them are given below,

1.    Error #0

         Error Message: Connection Successful!
         Solution: Does not require any action.

2.    Error #2

          Error Message: System cannot find specified file.
          Solution: You should reinstall NCP & DUN.

3.    Error #5

         Error Message: Access Denied.

         Solution:

·         Please check that you have entered the right username and password in the field labeled "domain" for NT/2k.

·         Check that the option "accept any authentication including clear text" is activated.

4.    Error #5

          Error Message: Invalid Procedure Call.
          Solution: Dialup and Network components must be installed again.

5.    Error #6

          Error Message: Stack Overflow.

          Solution:

·         Please try to cold boot your computer. 

·          If this is not working, the problem might come from your RAM or the Swap file.

6.    Error #20

          Error Message: The system cannot find the specified device.

          Solution: 

·         Ensure that the right modem has been selected.

·         If it does not respond, try to reinstall it. 

·         You can also try to reinstall NCP/DUN/RAS.

7.    Error #71

          Error Message: No more connections are allowed.

          Solution:

·         It may be possible that someone else might have connected under your account. 

·         If you have been ghosted on the server, your Internet Service Provider can bump the ghost program off. 

8.    Error #380

          Error Message: Invalid Proper Value.

          Solution:

·         Autodial should be pointed to the correct dialer. 

·         Else, set up the dialer again.

Likewise there are many error codes of windows, I have discussed here few of them. Some of these error codes can easily be removed but some required expert advice to deal with them. I have given basic knowledge and steps to understand and fix them.
